This year we have an estimated price per pound. Feel free to see our newsletter for more details. The price will be based on the actual cost of raising the birds. Our goal is to pass our savings on to you. We will notify you of the final price two weeks before processing when we call to arrange the pick-up time of your chickens. You are more than welcome to adjust your order at that time.

The estimated price per pound of chicken for 2010 is $2.85 per pound. We are also asking for a deposit of $6 a bird.

This year we are raising 1000 chickens in two differen batches. One batch will be available in June with another batch available in September. At butchering they are 10 weeks old and average 6 pounds per bird. If you would like a different size please contact us and we will try and accommodate you. If you would prefer to pick up your chickens not frozen please indicate that on your order form and we will arrange to pick up your chickens on the day of processing.

An now for the small print: As before the quantity discounts of $.10 per pound for 50 birds or more will apply. We encourage group orders, where one person represents friends and family as to obtain the quantity discounts. That person will be responsible for picking up, distributing, coordinating payment and will be legally responsible for all of their group’s chickens. Please understand that legally we cannot sell processed birds to wholesalers or for re-sale to 3rd parties. Due to the nature of our operation we cannot guarantee that all birds ordered will be available. If there are not enough birds to fill your order when we receive it or if we become aware of a shortage, we will promptly notify you and refund your deposits.
